REACH refers to Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, Restriction of chemical substances, Mixture, Intermediates. “INDIA REACH” also known as “Chemical (Management and Safety)” Rules 2021 is a National Chemical Law.

REACH Compliance provides for Notification, Registration, and Restrictions or prohibitions, as well as labelling and packaging requirements related to the use of substances, substances in mixtures, and Intermediates placed or intended to be placed in India.

The objective of REACH Compliance is to ensure a high level of protection to human health and the environment through better and earlier identification of intrinsic properties of Substance, Mixture, and Intermediates placed or intended to be placed in India. All manufacturers, Importer, Foreign entities of chemical substances need to notify the authority. REACH compliance certificate shall be granted to the Notifier.
