HOW TO GET THE CDSCO CERTIFICATION? The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) under Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India is the National Regulatory Authority of India for discharging functions assigned to the Central Government under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. It is responsible for the approval of Drugs, regulatory control over the import of drugs, laying down the standards for Drugs, Conduct of Clinical Trials in the country. The processes to get the CDSCO certification are as follows: • An authorized signatory/ responsible person of the organization must fill the registration form with all requisite documents. • Once the submission of the application is completed, the application is received by the nodal officer. • Reviewing Officer will review the application. If any deficiency in documents, the authority may require the applicant to submit additional information. • The central drug authority will approve registration only after the evaluation of the submitted documents. • Once the application gets approved, licensing authority grants the Approval of the license.
