HOW TO GET EPR REGISTRATION FOR PLASTIC WASTE MANAGEMENT?

All Producers, Importers, Brand owners, and PWPs of plastic packaging are not allowed to conduct business without obtaining EPR registration from CPCB. To get an EPR registration certificate, PIBOs must submit an online application with the necessary details, documents, and fees.

The following steps are involved in the EPR registration process:

1. Documentation: Before filling out the application form, applicants must have all relevant documents on hand in pdf, jpg, or png file formats.

2. Registration for login credentials: The Applicant needs to fill out the detailed information for self-registration on the CPCB portal. Following self-registration, the Applicant will receive login credentials to file the Application form.

3. Submission of application: The Applicant needs to fill all required information in the application form and upload all relevant documents for EPR Registration.

4. Submission of application fee: The Applicant must pay the application fees along with the application for Registration.

5. Processing of application: The submitted application will be reviewed by authorized officials to grant EPR registration.

6. Grant of EPR Registration: If the application is deemed complete, CPCB will grant EPR registration certificates to PIBOs.
