REACH Notification and Registration Certificate are mandatory for All Manufacturers or Importers, or AIR of all existing and new substances. No person shall place any Substance, Mixture, or Article in Indian territory unless they comply with these rules.

The Notifier shall notify the authority. The authority shall conduct a preliminary check to ensure that the Notification is complete and the prescribed fee has been paid.

Once the Notification shall be deemed accepted, A notification number shall be assigned to the Notifier, and a Notification Certificate/REACH Certificate of compliance shall be granted to the Notifier.

After Notification, Registration is mandatory for priority substances. A Registration shall be done by submitting a Technical Dossier, safety data sheet, Chemical Structural details. Once the registration shall be deemed accepted, a registration number is issued along with the registration certificate. Foreign Manufacturers may appoint an Authorized Representative in India to represent their case and to get REACH Certificate.
