Get Bis Certificate for Styrene (Vinyl Benzene)
Styrene, also known as vinylbenzene, is a synthetic chemical primarily used in the production of latex, synthetic rubber, and polystyrene resins. These resins are used in the manufacturing of plastic packaging, disposable cups and containers, insulation, and various other products. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has established a standard, IS 4105:2020, for Styrene (Vinyl Benzene). It is mandatory to obtain BIS certification for Styrene (Vinyl Benzene) as per IS 4105:2020 to engage in its sale, import or export in the Indian market.
