USB Driven Barcode Readers, Barcode Scanners, Iris Scanners and Optical Fingerprint Scanners are covered under Compulsory Registration Scheme under IS 13252(Part 1) as per BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). All the manufacturers or importers who want to sell their products in India must have mandatory certification granted by BIS, government of India after proper testing.
