IS 17399 IS 17399 outlines the manufacturing details and specifications, dimensions, performance criteria of testing and analysis of woven sacks. Under the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 and the rules and regulations made thereunder, manufacturers of woven sacks are required to certify their products under IS 17399 and mark the sacks with the standard mark ISI Mark.
