IS 1293: 2005 for Plugs and Socket has been revised as IS 1293: 2019 and has been published. The last date for implementation of the revised Standard is 25 July 2020 after which the old Standard shall stand withdrawn. Therefore the manufacturers should implement the necessary changes for manufacturing of plugs and sockets before the last date of implementation.
