Description

Diagnostic X-ray is used to take pictures of areas inside the body. It focuses a small amount of radiation on the area of the body to examine. The X-rays passes through the body and creates an image on film or a computer display. The manufacturers of the Diagnostic X-ray machines in the country are required to comply with the mandatory product certification under the Indian Standards IS 7620 (Part 1) as per Bureau of Indian Standards. The manufacturers/importers of Diagnostic X-ray machine are applicable to sell their products in the Indian market only with the ISI Mark granted by the Bureau of Indian Standards. ISI Mark ensures the quality of the product along with the safety of consumer. So, the manufacturers of X-ray machine must have the certification after proper testing under the Bureau of Indian Standards.
